hi there.. at the moment i have standard 14" alloys on my 1997 coupe...

i have already got some 16" alloys that i want to fit on.. they are 4 x 114.3 pcd but their offset is 50 i thnk and the coupe is 45 max..

is there a way around this... like a ring.. .. will it be safe to do.. and what tyres size am i looking at.. i.e 205/45/16

the rim is 7J wide...

would i need 2 do any bodywork to fit 16's on.. ive heard many people say that they can fit 17's on easily

but my main concern is the offset on the alloys are 50 and the car is 45 max!!!!
