2000 Sonata Front, Left Bearing Assembly RUSTED shut!

I had a mechanic work on this for 3 hours and he could not get the assembly apart to replace the bearings.  He told me I could try to find an assembly for the front, but they are not easy to find.  Rear hub assemblies are easy to find.  Anybody have any advice of a place I could find the part!?!?  I am stuck. This is a MAINE car.

I'd start working through the local salvage yards.  There are probably several model years (1999 thru 2005?) where that part is interchangable.  The yards have databases that they can lookup the part and know for sure which years to look for.
