I have a 2002 accent with the 1.5 l and auto trans
When i start the car it will run but really ruff with next to no throttle response, and start chugging and coughing, what i have to do is shut the engine down and restart it any where from 1-4 times before it engine will run proper(close to proper anyway)
now i also want to add that the colder the weather the better it runs
and on hot days its getting a dieseling sound like it timing is to far advanced
everything else seems fine and as i am 3 1/2 hour from the dealer was wondering what you all thought of this
(i am thinkin that a sensor of some sort is to blame
btw i have down the spark plugs, air cleaner, timing belt and nothing has help me
help me :D
thanks in advance will check back regularly for any suggestions

very common fault on accent is h/t leads from the coils to the plugs. check for tracking(white marks on the rubber leads)

hope this helps.
