Hello all,
I recently bought a 2005 Accent GS (with only 7100 km!!!) and it's been a sweet ride. It's Desert Gold and has a plethora of options that my previous '99 Accent didn't have! Unfortunately that succumbed to a major tranny meltdown. "Lola" as she's been affectionately named has been perfect except for a strange clicking sound coming through the speakers whenever the engine is running or idling. It only happens after maybe 5-10 minutes, and it's not loud at all, but it is annoying. The mechanic at the Hyundai dealership said it was common, as it was the solenoid during normal operation. Does this sound right? Could it be anything else , or be repaired? Weird!!!
Cheers,
Thanks very much!
