The 2005 Hyundai Tucson is a 4-door, 5-passenger sport-utility, available in 6 trims, ranging from the GL 2.0 2WD to the LX 2.7 4WD.
Upon introduction, the GL 2.0 2WD is equipped with a standard 2.0-liter, I4, 140-horsepower engine that achieves 22-mpg in the city and 27-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional. The LX 2.7 4WD is equipped with a standard 2.7-liter, V6, 173-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 24-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard.

I dont know what you guys are going on about,Have any of y taken your car off road yet? I have a v6 auto 04/05 model & I dont have a problem with my auto, that is natural 4 it take time to change gears,mabe I will send you all some photos of our 4wd drive trip on the weedend to show what your car is capable of doing!
