After visiting my dad in Denver and driving his Jaguar S-Type (I know, no comparison...), I want a faux wood-grain steering wheel for my Sonata.
My Sonata is a 2005 LX with black leater interior and wood grain highlights - I am sure many of you have similar interiors.
I have seen a couple online with black leather for about $500, but the color of the wood is too light. I have also seen them with perfectly colored wood, but they have gray leather. What gives?
Does anyone know where I can find an appropriately-colored wood grain steering wheel? And even better, how about an affordable one?
Thanks in advance!

I wonder if a Hyundai Azera (or perhaps an XG350) wheel would work. Maybe that's where the wheels you are finding are coming from anyway.

Before you dye it, put it in and see how you like it. It might look fine.

Is it hard to install? It comes with instructions, I noticed, but I've never done anything like this before...

Yeah, it didn't look good so I dyed it. It looks mch better, but I need to get it installed now. I could do it myself, but I need to get a T40 Torx screwdriver and a couple other tools.
Anyone have any experience with this? Have any advice?

You could have saved some trouble by instead of dying it, you could swap the air bags.
Thats just my $0.02

What are you talking about? What does the color of the air bag have to do with the color of the leather? I am trying to keep some level of elegance here, not make the inside of my car look like a patchwork of various aftermarket parts...
