My transmission (clutch) slips upon acceleration. About 1 year ago, I had the clutch replaced, except for the flywheel, which was resufaced.
It worked great for a few months, then started doing it again.
A technician adjusted the master cylinder under the dash, and it worked great again... for a few months. But now the cylinder can be adjusted any way, and is not fixing the problem, or even the symptom.
Does anyone know if this is a master cylinder problem, or a mechanical problem at the clutch/transmission?
HELP, PLEASE!
Thanks,
Zeke

Could be the pressure plate getting weak. After so many ins and outs the springs get weak, plus the heat helps take a toll.
It is usually a good idea to replace both pressure plate and clutch.
