The '03 will get traded in a heartbeat for the SR. Sharp, looks like the powers that be are listening and watching what people are doing to the normal cars. just like the Si's that Honda started putting out years ago...... can't wait!!

I really like the look of that thing alot, sadly though usually the concept doesn't reachthe showroom and a much tamer version is used.

Poacher,
Sadly your right my friend. It's a shame. All aggressive styling is gone before it hits the showroom. We buy the vehicle thinkin' wow this will look sharp. Spend hundreds to thousands on after market items. Anyways nothing for nothing, ever wonder why, for instance, a short ram intake which is very good for the engine performance is not installed by the manufacturer?? Just a thought!!

This probably due in fact because, emissions for all states must be met, and some aftermarket companies are funded by dealers.

..."for the credit unworthy and hopelessly cheap"?.... oh get real!
It does look nice but can anyone else see a bit of Ford Focus in the headlamp area? I saw the new model at the Chicago Auto Show and they took the styling in the opposite direction.

I hadn't seen that. What direction did they take it exactly?

The car's dementions are slightly bigger overall, but all the angles are rounded...sort of makes it more feminine...sorry to those I may offend, but they could of at least added SOMETHING from the prototype.

Poacher, I see that you're the Moderator and I've searched this site to see if anyone else has gone the way I'm looking. Too many times I see that guys are lowering their cars and adding all the plastic aero goodies. fine for the "tuner types" but it's too many and too common. I didn't buy a Honda for a reason...Have you or anyone else out there gone the more robust Rallye style? Straight line be damned... I want something that can go the distance even when the pavement gets rough.

I think it is pretty decent. It is a little chubby, but it has potential. I am kind of glad that Hyundai got rid of the "midget trunk look" and made more of a true hatchback.
Tenick,
I know where you are coming from. I happen to be a fan of both styles myself. I have an Accent that is my little drag race monster and it holds true to the tuner styling (not as gaudy though). On the flipside I have an 86 VW rabbit that I have supercharged and given a rally suspension. I Dirt track race the little bastard and just love the rally racing scene. So I feel ya, Rally racing and Touring styles rock!
