hey my sis has a 1999 excel im trying to work out how to get the centre console out where the stereo is (changing head units) its got 2 screws behind the ashtray and seems to be held at the top somehow. I cant find any screws anywhere near there wondering if i have to take out the whole dash to get @ it which seems a bit strange. Or if it pulls out??? Can anyone help.

There is 2 screws behind the ashtray and the rest should pull out as long as the face of your current head unit is not obstructing it.
