Blinkers not working-2003 Elantra

Within the past two weeks I had the flasher/relay for the turn signals replaced. It is again not working, and is making a crackling type of noise when you try to use them. I had assumed that when the relay was changed that this problem had been corrected. Has anyone else had an issue with the turn signal relay in a 2003? I'm thinking that it might be shorting out, but am getting frustrated with the thought of taking it back to have the part replaced AGAIN.

Check if any of the bulbs are not blown off. Usually, if one of the bulbs for bilnkers is not working, I have seen this happening. As simple as changing the bulb may solve it.

where are you buying these relays from? and when you replaced it did it work fine afterwards? if that's the case you need to have them replace the faulty part.
