How do I check to see if my control idle valve is functioning properly? Could this be what is causing my 99 Sonata to vibrate/shake???
In the past I had two check engines for different problems and during those "check engines" there was a pending code that mentioned something about their being a problem with the vechile speed, idle control and auxiliary input. Now auxiliary input sounds a lot ot me to have something to do with a sensor, correct me if I am wrong. So this is why I am now questioning if the control idle valve may be what is causing this shaking problem.
I've done everything that could be done, changed fuel filter, cleaned intake, used valve cleaner in oil, cleaned fuel injectors, checked the engine supports, etc... and many other things. NOTHING seemed to have worked.

Does anyone know anything about the control idle valve and as I stated earlier, "could this be a possibility for the reasons why my engine is shaking?" Obviously there is a problem with the flow of air because it is 100% certain that this shaking is due to an idle problem. When I had a mechanic check my engine with their scanner it read abnormalities with the air flow, not a huge abnormality however.

The air intake system on a car is one of the most important aspects of a vechile. I am surprised that not even a well educated mechanic that I have brought my car too has been intelligent enough to figure out what this problem is!

I think if we can figure out what this problem is it will help out not only myself but a lot of other Hyundai owners who experience this very same problem. Because as all these mechanics have told me, "Hyundai's are well known to be SHAKERS." So obviously there is a well known problem with these cars having a vibrating/shaking problem due to some mechanical defect that Hyundai still hasn't fixed in their newer models.
