Dash light and running light issues on 97 Tiburon

I would like any information anyone has on running light issues.  I've got a 97 Tiburon with a 2001 front end swap.  When I purchased it, the dash lights worked.  They suddenly went out, I've checked the fuses and they look fine  been there done that.... what would cause this (burnt out bulb????) and how would I go about getting back in the dash to replace the bulb?
 
Second issue, one running light keeps burning out, I'm thinking bad ground?  Is this another known issue.... everytime I replace it its blown within 10 minutes.
 
 
 
 
And, if your wondering a little bit about me, HUGE VW nut, but I've turned to Volvo's for my speed fix.  This Tiburon is a nice DD... probably a keeper (a 97 w/ 81k!!!)

Bulb is 12V40/3CP..... and its blown twice... is this the right bulb?
 
[edit] Ok, just did a little bit of searching, found out that the marker lights are a 2357NA vs just teh 2357's I've got.  Apparently one is a higher amperage and burns a bit brighter..... that would explain my situation, but can someone verify this information, its only come from looking at part numbers on www.autozone.com and noticing a difference.
 
Damnit, I hate little nitpicky things like these... I just want the car in stealth mode, no getting pulled over for a burnt out bulb or other BS [end edit, end rant]
