My 2004 santa fe with 91000 miles on it has no power at all. I can get it to 3k RPM's sometimes but it will start sputtering. It cannot go uphills without extreme slowing( on a minor hill today I went from 70 to55 in under 15 seconds). I just changed my cat converter. I have no engine light on my dash. I have also in the last year replaced the clutch timing sensor, all belts, and the electric wires on my spark plugs. Does anyone have any clues on this?

I would check the throttle position sensor. Do you know about WebTech? You can view Hyundai's service manuals online for free at
http://www.hmaservice.com. You have to register but it's all free. If you don't get a confirmation right awy, go back in, do the "Forgot Password" thing and that usually triggers it.

I tried to go to hma but the site won't let me finish my registration. Thanks for the link. How do you check the sensor position?

I am now getting an error code of p0131 and error code of po171. Could this be the oxygen sensor? I was told most likely not but I believe that this would be the problem in both of the instances.
