Hello All,

My alternator died in my 2000 Hyundai Accent, so I took on the project of replacing it myself. I have it installed fine, but the only problem is I had to remove the mounting arm/bracket that holds the alternator in place. There are a few pieces and I'm not sure how to put it back together, and how to screw it back into the frame. There is the curved piece, and a small suqare piece that has holes in it where bolts pass through. Could someone take a picture of this bracket/arm so I can have a guide as how to put it back together?

Maybe this will help:

GENERATOR

COMPONENTS

REMOVAL
Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery and disconnect the radiator fan connector and condenser fan connector.

Remove the radiator mounting bolts

Loosen the belt tension adjusting bolt and remove the mounting bolt. Then, raise the vehicle.

Disconnect the generator connector and remove the B+ terminal cable.

Remove the belt and detach the generator mounting bolt and nut. Then, remove the generator assembly while raising the radiator.
