i am the owner of a 2000 hyundai accent gs... i like my car alot but i want want better performance on it.. what are some of the things you ahve done to your car to help the h/p and other performance?.. has any one done a engine swap in it? does any one know what engines can be swapped into my hyundai? i plan on doing alot of mods to my car so any information will help me out.. thanks

I have a 02 hyundai accent dohc 1.6 before you change out the engine go look at sharkracing.com and look at the turbo kits i got one and i notice it

turbo kits are nice...but if your new to the "modding" i would try and stick with the basics first. intake, exaust, pullies, suspension, rims/tires, shark racing sells a pretty decent and low cost ecu....then eventually go for the turbo kit or nitrous...or even both. and i have heard about a beta engine swap...i dont know all of the details about it. but i'm pretty sure you can search

all im saying is that puting a beta engine is alot more work just build your engine up my little 1.6 is almost puting out 300 whp
