Hello all,
Just so everyone can relate, I am a 45 year old male. Married for over 23 years to a woman I met when I was seven years old. I have two kids, a 17 year old daughter and a 15 year old son. My wife drives a 95 Jeep Wrangler and is hardcore about it. Y'all know my story from a truck to a Hyundai. I'm senseable about matters, even though my spelling may not be perfect, I too don't claim to be. I do enjoy this group and the information provided between members.

Nice to see you Raffi, you'll love it here. As you already know, we are all here to help one another as best we can.
By the way< I am technologically retarded, so if anyone can tell me how to post a pic I will have one up. I am a gearhead and a greasemonkey, not a techie.

Poacher,
When you post, you have the ability to embed a picture. Click on that, hit the browse button, select your picture from where ever and your done. Not even close to being technical.

We are new here. My fiance drives a 2001 Accent, and I drive a 1989 Mazda RX7 GTU. Her car is getting up there on miles(approx. 75k). Is there any advice for what problems to expect, and what performance upgrades to add. The first thing she wants to do is put a new set of wheels on it to replace those nasty hubcaps she has on it now. Thanks in advance

Brant, you and Poacher really make this Accent forum work! I have some similarities with Brant. I am 47 and drive an Accent (a '97, formerly my stepson's) because I can't afford to feed my other vehicle any more. I have a 2002 Silverado 2500HD crew cab pickup with the 8.1L gas engine. I can get 11.5 mpg if I baby it! Anyway, it is kinda dumb for one person to commute to work in a 7,000lb vehicle, IMO. The Accent is a real blast to drive on the twisty roads I commute on and the power surprises a lot of people. I love to play with the Accent too. See my post on CAI and gauges. Also added a cheapy "performance module" purchased from e-Bay. It actually does work although the claimed +25HP is a joke. Probably adds another five over the CAI. As for pictures, I would rather post pictures of my cars than me. My '66 Pontiac is in the "Off Topic" secton under "Classic Cars". It also gets 10 MPG (on premium + lead substitute), but it's a real awesome drive!
