Need help! One day old battery produces nice little clicking sound instead of turning engine over!
I hated this car when I first got it-traded payments on new 4 wheel drive Jeep for no payment used 1992 SCOUPE-called it a POS all the time-now six years later... 35-42mpg; no payments; she changes her own oil via front seal (or is it rear seal? it's sideways-who knows?) Still no payments-just large jug of oil in trunk. Back to clicking!!! Don't know why 13 year old battery died, but it did. this was two days after second headlight blew. Fuses appear to be good. No payments. I do my own maintenance. No payments. Could it be a grounding problem? Some sort of relay? No payments-I love this car!

If you are getting a click when you turn the key it may not be the battery, it sounds like the starter to me.

after 13 years i would expect the battery to be nackered . imo. change the battery anyway.
