Looking at buying a new accent base model 5speed. Anyone have any comments good/bad concerning this car.Thanks

I settled on the Accent GT model, 05. The dealer was not able to locate a base model for me in the NJ,NY,PA area. So I got the 4speed auto trans. Love the car. Had it since September 1, no problems at all. Good luck!!

I am a huge fan of the Accent and the five speed sure is fun to drive. You won't get anymore horses with a GT, but they do look nicer and the engine is a fairly good platform to build off of.
