I have an 02 Elantra GLS and i just replaced the front Brake Pads and Rotors with Bendix and the rear with new Pads and Rotors as well. For the first day it drove smooth with out a sound now today while i was driving there is a lound Grind motion noise it does it when u stop on it to speed up on the highway and gets more and more louder but if u step on the brakes it goes away. I took the entire front brakes and rotors off today checked everything out nothing rubbing. And i even drove the car while up in the air and nothing the minute i took it down and back on the road the noise is back can anyone tell me what it could be. Also i notice the front brake pads fit very tight and i had to trim off the center tip because it wouldn't let the caliper bolt on.

When you changed the rear pads, did you just compress the caliper in, or did you twist it in? It is not designed to be pressed straight in; it's supposed to be twisted (rears only). If you pushed it straight in, you may have messed up the rear calipers.

I thought the '02 GLS had drums on the rear and only the GT had rear discs.
