Hey Guys,

I drive a Hyundai Accent 1.5i 99' model. I'm wondering if any of you can help me out. I'm in the process of doing an engine conversion and was looking at dropping am Elantra 1.8i 16valve engine or possibly a 2.0lt 16valve (heard about mitsubishi engines fittting perfectly). Has anyone got any info on this sort of conversion.

Yes, the engine is not a direct fit.

The engine mounts require modifying, however once this has been completed, it is pretty much straigh forward from there on in.
