I have a 2001 accent 2 door hatchback. The clock, radio, and interior dome light died on this car. Is there a way to figure if these are all on the same fuse, or relay??? I have looked at both the fuse box in the engine compartment and the one on the driver's side kickboard near the clutch..... I have checked all the fuses and none seem shot. But I really couldn't find anything as far as a description in either block refering to the clock or the interior dome light. One fuse in the engine compartment is marked "AUDIO" but it is not blown . Any help or guidence would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!
Stephen

In the engine compartment, the fuse next to the AUDIO fuse is the ROOM LP fuse. That fuse controls the Audio (always-on memory), Instrument Cluster, Courtesy Lamps, Room Lamp (dome light), etc. Try that one.

Whats the story with the little yellow plastic fuse doubler on the AUDIO and ROOM LP fuses how do you get the fuses out pull the whole thing or use tweezers to get out each fuse

Have you tried squeezing on the two sides of the yellow thing and seeing if the whole thing comes out with the fuses?

yes I tried that but it did give then I tried pushing them away the both times the whole fuse box was moving so I didnt want to put too much pressure to it

I just finish installing my Remote Car Starter and I have by mistake blow the Ingnition Fuse (30 Amp) and my radio and Clock whent dead...
Replaced the fuse all Radio and Clock work again.
It's not always the mark fuse for what your are looking for.

My air bag light came on the other day, now my headlights don't work and the radio sound goes off. If I flip the turn signal a time or two the radio sound comes back on. Could this be in the headlight switch???

those two fuse in the yellow tab in the engine compartment fuses are called power connector fuses. they are left unplugged when the vehicle is shipped so that the battery does not drain it's voltage.
as regards to the airbag light it could be a gazillion reasons why that light is on. it could be a harness connector. simpliest fix is to take it to the dealer.

Well I got the yellow thing out I just pulled real hard and it came out w/fuses and I left yellow piece out and put fuses back The reason I wanted the fuses out was to disconnect my factory cassette player with the tape stuck in it reading ERROR 8! but it did kill the power to it and when I put the fuses back it still read ERROR 8 and tape is still stuck in it ...it is one of those ipod connector cassettes and it worked great for awhile!!!!!!!

best thing you can do is take the radio out or try to use something can get the tape out. the ERROR 8 is normally an eject malfunction. so either you try to get it out or buy a new one. next time just disconnect the batt. turn the key on then reconnect the battery. does the same thing or pull radio fuse. simple
