I have a 93 Sonata 4 cylinder that starts and runs OK for hours. If you shut off the car and then try to restart it a half hour later, it will not start. There appears to be weak spark . If left overnight the car will fire right up. Has any had this same problem?

Have you connected the scan tool to it to check for any fault codes?

After I had the car towed home,I discovered that the control relay was not turning on the fuel pump. The weak spark story came from the service station that had the car for repairs. They backed out on fixing the car because they did not have a scan tool for it. I jumpered pins 3 to 4 which is direct to the fuel pump. The car starting right up and seems to run fine. I don't know why the computer is not closing the relay. I tested the relay by itself and it seems to work fine. Is there some signal if missing that will tell the computer to turn off the fuel pump?
