Squeaking

My '03 Hyundai squeaks when I close the driver's side door, go over a bump or close the hood.  I think it's coming from the shock absorber on the front end.  Any ideas where else it could be originating?  I can't make it squeak if I just lean on the hood or jump up and down on the driver's side door when it's open.  Only when I close the door, ride over a bump, or close the hood.  Thank you.  JB
