i`ve got a 2006 Coupe, its done only 3500 miles. Every time i brake i get a really irritating high pitched squeel. The local dealer has changed the pads, to no avail; copasliped the back of the pads to no avail. They now say they can do nothing else, you`ll just have to put up with it. Hyundai customer support say they have had complaints about some cars with squeels and changing the pads won`t help. The problem is caused by vibration in the pads. They suggest copaslip. They say its not a warranty issue and I`ll have to live with it! Any one help or have any suggestions?

dont know if its any help but on asian cars when the pads need changing a small metal clip springs out and hits the brake disc making them squeel so you know they need changing, its a possibility , (tyre and brake centres as they are)that the yts kid that did your job didnt know this, the clips could still be out hence the noice its possible to file them down if thats any help

or you need to put more anti-squeal grease behind the pads.
