I have a Getz 2006 model and it is having start problem.
Everytime I try to start the car, it just make a "Tick" sounds and nothing happens. To get it started I have to try a couple of times and finally it works.
I showed it to the service center but they just clean the spark plug everytime and this works for few days but then again the problem resurfaces.
I noticed the problem is more frequent when I park my car leave it in gear.
Any suggestions ?

Hi,
As you have a 2006 model surely its covered by the warranty? - You should tak it back to the dealer you purchased it from & get them to look at it.
I'm no expert but it sounds like starter motor or ignition switch may be immobilizer.
