Can anyone supply me with details of the fuel system. My vehicle's diesel drain back to the tank when it stands overnight and then it is hard to start in the mornings. If I open the bonnet and pump the fuel throug the system using the rubber ball next to the fuel filter (bleed the system) then it starts as normal. I suspect there must be a nonreturn valve somewere that is not working properly. There are no leaks on the systim.

the non return valve is in the rubber hand pump so i would look at this first.
