Timing belt intervals

Hi all.

One of my friends asked me what the timing belt change intervals were on his Elantra 2 litre CRDi diesel. It is a UK model but I'm assuming the American ones are the same.

Can anyone help me?

Hey ya Coup....Man a diesel ?I never seen one of them in america.....but for the most part it's either 60k or 80 k..and just incase I'm off the mark , in his little owners manual it should be listed in the scheduled maintanance section .

Im pretty sure its 60k. Ill check when I get my car.

For US gas powered models it is at 60k.
