2002 Santa Fe will not start
I have a 2002 Santa Fe that sometimes will not start after being parked for a couple of hours. The battery, alternator, terminals are all new. We have had it to several places and the only thing that anyone can say is that they beleive the alarm system is starting to go bad which is draining the power when it is parked. The only other electrical issue we have had with the car is the fog lights keep burning out but not the fuse. Has anyone else had these problems?

No start --
Does it crank ?
Crank & no fire ?
To determine excessive parasitic draw, you will need a DVOM with mA capability, and test for draw when sitting,, typical sleep draw will be less than 30mA,, anything much more and we have somethng drawing excessive current.
When testing, you want key out of the cylinder, and use something to hold the hood switch down.
Fog bulbs keep burning filament, hard to find good bulbs,, vibration, on-off cycles all take toll on filaments. Cracked lens allow water in hot bulb ?
