Question NEED HELP! P161B-P2106-P1295 trouble codes

Ok Forumers,
This is my plea for some assistance.

Vehicle
2008 Hyundai Sonata Limited 3.3L V6, 144K miles. Runs and drives fine except for one little issue.

When I drive the car I sometimes get the following condition

as I accelerate at a medium throttle condition (say 3500 RPMs) the car almost goes into 4th or 5th gear when it suddenly goes into limp mode, the check engine light illuminates and power is reduced to 1000-2000 RPMs.
I can turn the key off (at a stop or driving). When I Restart the car it again drives fine.
I can duplicate this regularly

Codes
P161B = ECM Torque Calculation Performance
P2106 = Lime Home Mode - Force Limited Power
P1295 P1295
= Limp Home Mode - Power Management

Based on the codes and possible causes, I have performed the following in this order.

inspected grounds all over the place and cannot find breaks or excessive corrosion, Inspected intake manifold, Replaced TPS, flashed ECM, replaced Throttle Body, replaced accelerator peddle sensor and replaced ECM.

If anyone has seen this and can give some sound advice on other possible causes. I would be most appreciative!

I have the same three codes and a similar condition to get the car to "stall" or stop, but restart and have those same three codes. I've read everything from TPS (engine or access pedal) to Transmission control sensor to Battery cable loose to having checked all of the above and the codes still occur. Before I start down my own attempts a fixing by trail and error, anyone have a suggestion on what they did that was a more direct route to a permanent fix?

...by the way, not sure if related, but there was a lose battery cable on this car a few months back, but it was fixed. not lose anymore and connection is clean/good.

Thank you!

This is an old thread.
And it is too bad that the original thread starter didn't come back and update with a fix

I don't know what is wrong.
It appears the engine is going into limp mode
Possible cause is the TCM is not working as expected
This can be due to electrical issues or sensor issues
Vehicle speed sensor and wheel speed sensor may be providing conflicting information
The TCM could be receiving bad info. A tone wheel tooth could be an issue.
Or even a bad TCM?

Well, wish you luck.
And hope you post and update to let others know how to deal with this issue.

P161B indicates that the desired torque is too high or low compared to the actual torque. Possible causes include intake air leakage, faulty ETS system, clogged exhaust system, or a faulty PCM.

Default Simple $100 Fix for Codes P161B, P1295 and P2106

Experienced these codes on 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe with 144K miles, along with so-called "limp home mode" or force limited power. It felt like it was pulling a heavy trailer. Local mechanic diagnosed a dirty throttle body, cleaned it and so far it seems to work perfectly.
