Overstated Mileage Claims
#11
I checked on my car and it says "This car has already been registered".
I wrote Hyundai a letter about transferablilty since this car is still under its 5 yr/60K bumper to bumper.
I also asked them about whom had the gas card. Since it doesnt seem right for the oringal owner to continue to get compensated for the mileage if they sold the car.
They Don't
That should be passed down to the next owner.
Only if you bought before the cutoff date
But Im sure the "lifetime" term applies to only the original owner, like the 10yr/100K warrantee.

But Only If you purchased your qualified vehicle prior to November 3, 2012. After that date the revised MPG figures were out.

Yes, I bought my 2013 Elantra in May 2013 & could not get any reimbursements. But my MPG, for two years after I purchased my Elantra, was 39MPG, overall, with a high of 46MPG(a tank, with paper & pencil data). I would have to pay Hyundai, because they UNDER-estimated my MPG.
