i have a 99 elantra auto tranny. there are 2 sensors next to the dipstick. one small, one big. what is the big one for and how do i remove it. thank you.

The square 4 pin is the solenoid harness.

The small 2 pin is the fluid temp sensor connector.

The black connector at top left is range/inhibitor switch.

 

ok thanks for that info. here is the problem. i have 2 transmissions. one bad one good. they r from the same year, within the manufacture dates they need to be to match up, but the bad one has a 4 pin solenoid harness and good one has a 6 pin solenoid harness. can i change the two around and how do i remove them? everything else matches perfectly.
