Default Accent timing belt change

just joined the forum, I'm sure this has been talked about before. This coming weekend I plan on changing the timing belt and have never done it on this car. Advice????? I know it takes about 4 hours per my local machnic's but i need to do this myself.
Thanks

Geezer, How did that work out for you? I had valve noise develop about two weeks after changing mine. Iwas extremely careful in the process of changing it so it has me stumped. Was there anything that I might have missed?

well line the engine up to TDC then when all belts and timing cover is removed, loosen both 12mm bolts, DON'T REMOVE THEM, then pry on the tensioner away from the belt, then tightened the 12mm bolt to hold the tension in place away from the belt. remove and replace belt. loosen 12mm bolt, then tightened both bolts and reinstall all parts in the reverse order

well, better late than never, sorry I never answered. I ended up having some one do this for me. Now at 260,000 I am planning on doing it myself once more.

if you happen to read this, how hard is it to change the water pump at the same time?
