Default USB Connection for IPOD

I have just bought a new I10 Accent and have tried to connect my ipod. But when I plug in the USB and connect the ipod it just says empty USB. What am I doing wrong?

Sonja, I just bought a 2010 Accent and I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?

Did either of your Accent come with a iPod Adapter Cable part number 08620 2L000? This is what it is: iPod Adapter Cable 08620-2L000 Sometimes they come with them, my Accent did, Otherwise you can go back to the dealership or find one online. That is what you need for the head unit to see the iPod.
