I have a 06 azera 110 k and My check engine light came on and gas gauge is working erratically. My mech. Scan the car and said it's a fuel sensor. My question is which one and how to get to it? Should I replace the whole sending unit? Thanks
P.s the gas gauge works fine and the ck engine light goes out when the tank is full!

 

My guess is the fuel level sensor is bad. Why didn't you just let the mechanic fix it when he scanned it? Or just keep the fuel tank full.
