2011 6 speed manual

depending if its new or used, new shouldnt do that, but if it was used and someone REALLY abused it then I could see it being something that would have to be looked at. Otherwise, dont listen to what the car tells you and try shifting at a higher speed. (about 3-5 mph faster)

My '10 Accent has the shift indicator, and it tells me to shift way too soon, becouse when I follow it, I end up lugging the engine (the same noise/vibe you hear). The shift indicators are only idiot lights, and are not accurate guides for shifting gears, I have yet to drive any vehicle with one that is. So don't shift by the idiot light, just change gears according to how much power/acceleration is needed without lugging the engine.
