I have a 2002 Hyundai Elantra GT that i bought used and the Remote is a little flaky. I dont really care about the alarm at them moment and would like to just disable it. Is it possible to disable it easily or do i have to remove the whole keyless entry system? Thanks in advance!

 

What is the problem you are having? Describe "flaky".

 

I only have one remote and the disarm button doesnt work. I have to manually open door and alarm goes off and I have to hit arm to stop it. Id rather not even deal with the alarm.

 

Then why not fix the remote?
If not, just don't use the remote at all. Lock the car manually. The alarm won't se if you lock the doors manually.
