Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default removing back seat

Anyone know (or know where to find) how to remove the back seat of my elantra sedan? Someone smashed me rear windshield and of course it was raining for half a day before I went saw my poor little girl in her disabled state. I want to take it out to dry it as best I can via sun and fans.

And hey, while I'm at it, anyone know of a more effective method (ie, company or service) to dry the seats given that the water no doubt went all the way down into the foam?

Thanks so much.

Default RE: removing back seat

On fixed seats, remove the bolts at base of the seat back side cushions and detach them.Remove the two bolts at the rear of the seat cushion and detach the cushion assembly.Remove the two bolts at the base and remove the seat backs.
On folding seats, remove the two bolts at the front of the seat cushions and detach the cushion assembly.Fold the seats backs forward, remove the bolts and lift the assembly out.
