Hello,

I have a 2010 Touring L and I am experiencing some clunking noises (had for 5 months with only 6000 klms). The first and most annoying being when i'm turning while driving slow... only noticed in parking lots. This sound is a kind of clunking/popping that sounds like something that is holding tension is slipping. The sound occurs most when backing in and out of parking spaces but also happens when i'm making a slow 180 degree turn. The second sound is very similar to the first and occurs when driving slow over rough roads. It sounds like the strut mount is loose and moving around in place.

Has anybody else had these issues? Could they be related... possibly just strut mounts?

* I should mention... when I pop the hood and watch the center bolts on the strut mounts while having someone turn the wheel from side to side, the bolts move. Is this normal?

Any advice would be appreciated.
