Default Tow hitch and other misc questions

Has anyone on the forum put a tow hitch on their ET? Also, would it void our awesome warranty?

I know that the maximum towing capacity is 750 lbs. I presume this number is on top of the 800-850 lbs allowed inside the cabin.

Also, has anyone retrofitted roof rails on a 09 ET? I may want to actually fit a luggage carrier or sports tub to the rails.

Thanks in advance.

Default Hitch

I have a hitch on mine. I use it for a bicycle rack. Have not towed atrailer yet.
The dealer put it on so I would think as long as you don't abuse it the warranty should be fine. Check my pic out. It showes the bike mounted.

Cool, did you get leather seats from your dealer too? I'm beginning to get the feeling I wasn't offered a lot of options when I bought my car...do you live in the US?

The tow hitch looks standard, I found a few online. They cost in the region of $145 + an additional $85 for shipping. Does the cost of the bar seem reasonable to you?

Default Leather seats

I had the dealer put leather, trailer hitch and also tinted the widows. I'm sure he had local shops do the installs. Any of your local shops can install the hitch. Don't for get the electrical plug.

Not sure where you can get a trailer hitch but you can change the size.

Maybe you could get a universal one from J.C. Whitney.
