Default 08 santa fe dim headlights

I have an 08 Hyundai Santa Fe that the low beam lights both sides do not give out much light. Wife has hard time seeing the road at night. Do not think headlights are aimed wrong. New factory bulbs from dealer. Bulbs from auto parts store only last 30 to 60 days. Dealer said he has heard of this from other customers. About the aftermarket bulbs. Lens covers both sides have no fog/haze to them and only minimal. scratches on the very sides of lens not in front of headlight.
No charging issues good battery lights do not dim during driving just not as bright as they used to be. no codes or warning lights on only other lighting issue is have one fog light that sometimes work and sometimes does not.
Anybody else had this or any advice?
I am in the dark
Thank you for any help

I would check to make sure the bulbs are inserted correctly first (yes, they can be put in wrong: https://www.hyundaiforum.com/forum/h...lacement-9805/).
Then check the aim.

Thank You one bulb was not put in correctly so aim was off. Other bulb metal clip that was to hold bulb in place was off sitting in headlight compartment and bulb was backed out to far. Now i have bright lights again. Thank you NovaResource

I was having a similar issue with the driver's side bulb I just replaced. After reading this thread, I went out and discovered that the non-clip short side of the spring was UNDER the bulb which was throwing off the aim. After sliding the bulb under the spring, it fit deeper in the socket and the tab fit in the notch better. I also used a brighter flashlight. Thanks NovaResource for reminding us to check again.
