Default CEL code P0171

I have a 2009 Sante Fe V-6 with 32000 miles on it. At the recommendation of my dealer I had the tranny serviced and now I keep getting a P0171 trouble code. The CEL will come on and stay on for a couple of days then it goes out. The dealer says it's dirty injectors but I have my doubts. Are there any vacuum lines on the tranny that may be causing this? I'd appreciate any thoughts on this. Thanks!

P0171 is a lean condition in bank one (firewall side of the engine). It could be the injectors but it usually is something more simple like a dirty MAF or a vacuum leak (possibly the PCV). I'd first start looking for a vacuum leak or a leak in the intake tube between the MAF and the throttle body. Then I would clean the MAF.

Thanks! Where can I find the MAF on this engine? Once I have a chance to check out your suggestions I'll let you know how I did.

Good point. Let Hyundai cover it under the 5y/60k warranty. Back in October (2010) my 2006 Kia Sedona with 53,000+ miles had a P0174 code (lean condition bank 2) and a P2187 code (lean condition at idle bank 1). The problem was a torn intake tube between the MAF and the throttle body. Kia replaced it for free under warranty.

I took the advice of sbr711 and NovaResource and took it to the dealer. They replaced the canister purge valve and it seems to have fixed the problem.
Thanks to all who commented.
