Default help with Camshaft Positioning Sensor

I have a 2007 2.7 Hyundai Santa Fe and need to replace the bank 1 camshaft positioning. Can someone please give me a diagram or explain exactly where the location is of this sensor? I've asked other forums and no one gives me an answer. Please help.

Have you tried looking at a Haynes manual?

I'm not a Hyundai person but I know engines. Cam shaft sensors are usually on the front of the engine. If the engine has belts to drive the camp the sensor is near where the belt wraps around the cam gear. Look for a connector on each side where the cams are located. There only needs to be 1 sensor on a dual cam engine. Un plug the connect then look for a screw or bolt hold it in place. If you take it out they are a coil of wire inside a metal cylinder kind of the size of an AA battery only shorter. There is a permanent magnate on the cam which activates the sensor. All piston engines have the same parts. The crank shaft censor will be lower on the engine.
