I have a 2004 Santa Fe. Front passenger window goes down but not up with both door switch and drivers door switch. Motor and Regulator OK on seperate 12 volt supply. Rear door switch is OK but when fitted to front door same fault exists. What else can I check?

The glass slides on the side
And check the tabs that hold the glass to the mechanism that moves up or down
Sometimes they break and when going up will go crooked and not allow it to come up

Can you pull up on the glass and use the switch to power the glass up?
Could also be a weak motor??

The passenger window goes up and down smoothly when the door switch is disconnected and a 12 volt supply attached directly to the regulator. Switching the supply round reverses the window movement. Switch connected, even changing to a known working rear door one, will only lower the window. There is no noise or movement at all with the switch connected and pulled up for raising.
