Staring Problem - Santa Fe 2013 Diesel
Hi everyone,
I'm resorting to this page because my local Hyundai Dearlership has no idea what's happening with my car, or how to fix it.
For the last few months our 2013 Diesel Santa Fe has intermittently decided not to start. There is no pattern to it and appears completely random. However, the issue hasn't occurred while in the actual dealership, so they can't (or are unwilling to) diagnose the problem.
When I press the start button (with foot on brake of course!) everything lights up / turns on, but the engine won't start. If I wait and try again 10 minutes later sometimes it starts sometimes it doesn't.... it's very frustrating! Yesterday I was left stranded for 2 hours and when the roadside assistant showed up, it started perfectly, so looked like an eejit.
Has anyone else had this issue or know what the solution might be so that I can relay it to my inept hyundai reps?
