Hi, I replaced the timing belt and the balance belt on my sonata, it ran for 9000 km so I figured things were done right. Last week the engine was hard to start, then later the **** hit the fan, major noise, no power. Turns out the timing belt jumped 4 notches at the cam shafts, the compression is good, 200 lbs on all cylinder. Anyway after putting everything back together the engine runs on 2 cylinders. I think I have a valve problem but I don't understand why the compression is good. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
