Oil Pan gasket Leak - 3.3

Oil Pan gasket Leak - 3.3
I have a small oil leak coming from the oil pan of my 07 Sonata 3.3
After calling the dealer I found out the oil pan does not have a gasket, but uses a silcone RTV seal. I can do that, BUT
I also searched the web and found that starting in 2009 models, there is a Felpro gasket available for the 3.3. Now the question is: What makes the 2009-2010 3.3 V6 oil pan different from the 2006-2008 models? If the oil pan is the same bolt pattern from 2006-2010 on the 3.3, shouldn't the Felpro be the better way to go to avoid leaks that usually occur with uneven surfaces using RTV?

Yes, I know I could go the RTV route - that's what the factory did. I'm just curious if anyone knows for sure the 2009 3.3 oil pan gasket from felpro will have the same shape and bolt holes. I know there were changes to the engine performance but I highly doubt there was a change to the oil pan area. That's what I'm really curious about.
