Sonata Center Console lights
I am trying to find the size and where to purchce the bulbs that light up the shifter position on an 03 Sonata. Hyundai does not sell the bulbls only the complete assy for $50.00. All I need is 4 bulbs that I could probably get for approx $2.00 bucks
Any help with finding these woulf be greatly appreciated

If you mean the bulbs that light up the individual gears (P-R-H-D) I don't believe that are replaceable. I think they are tiny, hardwired LEDs. If you don't want to buy a new assembly, I'd suggest checking eBay for used ones.

I'm not really familiar with how that system is set up , but if I might can I ask a question ?
It would be rare for all the led's to be burned out all at once so, could there be a break in the power supply to the led's and the position of the shift selector determines the ground for the selected lamp to lite up? Don't know if this is so , just curious.

Two definite places to find them:
1) Junkyard (it also allows you to practice--on someone ELSE'S car--how to open up your own console), and
2) The site "SuperbrightLEDs". I was able to find replacements for 2 out of the three lamps for MY console (2006 Sonata) here:
