Hey does anyone know how to clean up headlights? Mine are like all cloudy and dull.

 

Try some Mcguires Clear Plastic Cleaner/polish.

 

its cheap plastic, they are known to peel and get cloudy. Theres nothing you can do about it, if its still under warranty they will replace them

 

buy head light kit restorer follow instructions completely no short cuts I tried every thing nothing worked all most mess up the lenses try some of the chemicals I read on line head light restorer will work great if you follow instructions closely. my 12 year old head lights look almost new after about one hour cleaning with headlight restorer kit
I bought for $10.

 

You can sand them smooth then shoot some polyurethane on them. They will look new again.

U don't need to be an expert finished either, but you should know how to prep a surface with sandpaper in order to get good adhesion and a defect free result. It will last longer than the restorer kits. You will be doing that every month.. Labor and materials. Buy new ones, call local junkyards that part out their inventory or do the above. The kits are temporary fixes. Refinishing them is way easier. My mechanic did mine for $50 for the set.

 

I have used tooth paste and that works a little bit to clear up the lens
And I have tried car polish that seemed to work better.
The most important part is to use lots of water
Before and after.

Oh, if you decide to use sand paper then use a very fine grit and wet sand
It may seem like a lot of work but it is better than using a coarse grit and then have to work to sand the scratches out
