i have a 2000 hyundai tiburon with a cylinder 1 misfire. i have changed spark plugs, wires and coil pack, on top of that it was just in the shop to replace the head gasket. i am thinking i need to check the fuel injector and maf sensor next but i am unsure. it runs horrible, rough idle and rough while driving. when the CEL starts flashing it is even worse and smells of rich raw gas...please help

 

Hi there!First thing to do is a compresion test.Then u can swop 1 and 2 injectors around to see if misfire has moved to no2 cylinder.You can unplug and refit the injector plug, maybe when the cylinder head was done they never fitted the plug propperly.

 

Thank you for responding. It was a clogged a fuel injector that was giving me a hard time. So cleaned it up, stuck it back in and reset the CEL and no more problems.
