Default SRS Module/ Seatbelt

A few weeks ago my car got flooded.. my floor got soaking wet, nothing to the engine was ruined, but the moment i turned my car on the air bag light turned on... After a few days while I was driving my pre-tensioner belt snapped, causing my seatbelts to buckle.. after going to the dealership they said it was going to cost me $1600 for new seat belts and a new srs module and a clock spring (which i dont need because i know its working just fine), my question is where can I go to get seat belts and an srs module? ( i dont have $1600, to just give to the dealership, but i need my seatbelts!!) please help me asap!!!

Default RE: SRS Module/ Seatbelt

I suggest you contact your insurance company to see if this flood damage is covered by your policy. No dealer is going to work on the passenger restraint systems without making sure they are 100 percent operational due to regulatory and legal implications. FYI, the clock spring is part of the airbag system embedded in the steering wheel.
